Welcome to Forest View! We are all looking forward to getting to know you and your child properly over the next few months. The first half term will involve lots of new routines, meeting new friends and settling into a new school.

We will be getting to know your child through play based activities with a focus on phonics, maths and lots of activities around making new friends, sharing, taking turns and becoming more independent.

Please find the planning document attached to this page. This will tell you what we will be learning during the next 6 weeks. Homework activities will not start until after the October half term.

The children will be taking part in story telling activities, sharing their likes and dislikes with their new friends, talking about their family, getting to know each other, using basic maths skills and settling into their new environment.

Reading packs and homework activities will go home once the children are in school full time.  Details about PE days and Forest School sessions will follow soon.

Forest View uses the digital platform SeeSaw to share observations and communications. Details of how to set up your child’s account will follow soon.
