Wider opening to more pupils

19th Jun 2020

During the past week the school has been exploring the possibility of opening to more year groups before the summer holidays. However, due to the number of children now attending school all of our classrooms and staff are now being used to ensure we maintain provision for Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 children. While the 2m social distancing guidelines remain in place we will unfortunately be unable to increase our provision for children in other year groups and these children will now not be able to return to school until at least September.

The school continues to post home learning tasks to the school website for those that want them and there are additional DfE approved lessons online which are provided by the Oak Academy, BBC Bitesize and the Wandle English Hub. The Government are also in the process of releasing details of their summer catch-up scheme and longer term tutoring funding.

Staff remain committed to supporting all families during this time so if you need any help or support then please do not hesitate to contact us through the usual channels.
